Dr. Shiloh Wihksne (pronounced wickson) has been established in West Linn since 2000. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, she went to the University of the Fraser Valley then moved to the Portland area and attended University of Western States (WSCC) where she graduated in June of 1999. Dr. Wihksne has a B.Sc., in human biology and her Doctor of Chiropractic. She has also continued her education towards an orthopedic degree (DABCO) and sports medicine. She was also faculty at WSCC for 6 years teaching the chiropractors of the future while maintaining her private practice.

Dr. Wihksne works closely with family doctors, orthopedists, neurosurgeons, physical therapists and massage therapists to provide the best possible care to her patients. In her practice she complements spinal manipulation with active muscle stretching (post-isometric), pinning and stretching of muscles, cross fiber, and in office and home care exercises.

A drop table is also available to patients who prefer this technique. Dr. Wihksne treats patients of all ages with an emphasis on sports and sports related spinal injuries. Other conditions treated are headaches, tendonitis of the arm and leg, disc injuries with or without referred nerve pain and car accident injuries.

Outside the office

Dr. Wihksne enjoys running, skiing, traveling and her family. She lives happily with her husband and three boys (ages: 8, 6 and 4) in West Linn.
